I Invite You To Ask Yourself, “Am I A Believing Believer?”

Hebrews 11:6
Without Faith it is impossible to please God

Faith is being sure, being expectant of what we hope for.

• Faith is being certain of what we do not see
• Faith is not based on our circumstances, other people or our environment
• Faith is believing, regardless of our feelings

Bottom Line: Faith is believing it will happen, no matter what.

In my opinion, the reason God is not pleased with our lack of faith is because it affects us negatively. Just as our own children’s lack of faith affects their ability to believe for something great, or can cause discouragement or other negative emotions, Our Father God wants us to avoid that negativity and to live the Hope filled life He designed for us. This takes dependence on the Holy Spirit and faith.

We must believe, in order to live the way God has planned for us. Again, we want our children to have faith so they can live to their potential, make right decisions and expect great things to happen in their lives, because we know they are designed for greatness. We want the best for our kids, God wants the best for us. We aren’t pleased when our kids don’t have faith. God isn’t pleased when we don’t exercise our faith, simply because of what it does to us.

When we are Believing Believers, God is pleased, because then all things are possible.

You can ask yourself, Am I A believing Believer?
God has given us all a measure of faith, but there are times I need to pray for more faith, you can too.

You are welcome to pray this prayer:
Father God, you are the giver of faith and your word says you give to each of us a measure of faith, which is always enough. Please help me to exercise the faith you’ve given me. Thank you that you love me and are gentle with me, even when I am lacking faith. God, I need you and desire to please you with my faith. I trust you to develop me into a strong believer. I pray this in Jesus Name, the author of my faith. Amen.
