Who Are You Looking At? (1 min. read)

I am so very grateful that the blood of Jesus has brought me near to God and it’s not based on my own doing. I never would have gotten here if it depended on me. I don’t have what it takes. I’m not good enough or smart enough. Thank you Jesus that I don’t have to be. God sent Jesus to this earth to shed His powerful blood so you and I could be near Him. I love this Christmas season because it continues to point to Our Savior and everything He has done for us. It’s the perfect time to share with those who don’t know Him yet.

I want to encourage you to take time to meditate on the truth that the blood of Jesus has brought you near to God. You are no longer far from Him. There are people in your world that may be struggling with drawing near to God in their own strength. There are also people who desire to be near to God but don’t think they are worthy. Be bold and share with someone this week how simple it is to be near our loving, kind, forgiving God.

You know the truth that set you free, that same truth can set others free. Let them know they can stop looking at themselves and start focusing on the blood that was shed at the cross for all humanity. I’d love to hear your story, please share with me.
